Help Endangered Elephants in Laos
Funds raised to date: $3,665!
Hollis Burbank-Hammarlund, Founder/Director of Work for Wild Life International, is raising funds for the Elephant Conservation Center (ECC) in Laos. Hollis has a longstanding working relationship with the ECC--they are good people doing great work under difficult circumstances.
What does the ECC do that's so special?
The ECC Rescues, Rehabilitates, Reherds , Rewilds, Repopulates, and Respects endangered Asian elephants!
With an estimated 400 wild elephants left in Laos, time isn't on their side.
So, the ECC's dedicated team of expert elephant biologists, behaviorists, veterinarians, mahouts, and support staff blend healthcare + welfare + science + education + conservation, carrying out its award-winning projects and programs to prevent the extinction of Asian elephants in Laos.
Please help us raise $20,000 in 2026 to ensure the ECC is able to continue its vital work. Your donation will support:
• Innovative elephant biology, behavior, genomic, and reproductive research and applied science!
• Exemplary veterinary healthcare!
• Stalwart mahout knowledge and practice!
• The protection and ongoing monitoring of formerly captive elephants released into the vast protected area!
• The repopulation of Laos’ wild Asian elephant!
Thank you for caring! You make a difference!
